We have had multiple workers receive their licenses through Youth Futures. The team are very helpful and make sure that everyone understands the procedures as they are moving through the training as to ensure everyone receives their license at the end of the course, even if extra time is required to learn. We are not located close, but the trainer is willing to travel to site for us.

East Tamar Landcare used Youth Futures to conduct a chainsaw course for 8 of their members. This enabled them to obtain their chainsaw ticket to be able to participate in Landcare working bees as well as giving them Employment opportunities.Youth Futures was so easy to work with to organise the course. The trainer’s knowledge was outstanding and his enthusiasm made the course enjoyable. Even the ones who had been using Chainsaws for 50 years learnt something new. When thinking of training consider Youth Futures.

Hunters Products engaged Youth Futures last year to upskill our workforce with Forklift Licences. We found the whole process very flexible and the training was delivered in a way that all staff were able to follow, no matter what skill level they were at. We would recommend Youth Futures to any organisation looking for onsite training.

We have had a very positive experience in our forklift training. We did an onsite training in winter 2018 for 4-5 people. Andrew Green was the trainer and he was very knowledgeable about the safety and the forklift operation. He was a very good instructor for all of us, checking that everyone understood and developed the required skills. We have one person who did the outside training last season and the same feedback. We are very happy with outcomes from these trainings.
